If I had to teach my children the lessons I learned in life, how would I start?
Where can I get a map of all the knowledge out there? I want to move knowledge from my “don’t know-don’t know” to “know-don’t know”, while maintaining relevance. Relevance is predicated by biology.
When my kids are young, I had to start them with the very basics, arithmetic, and reading. By around age 5 my kids can read, and that opens up to the foundational skills.
Foundational skills are skills that help me acquire more skills and knowledge in a timely manner.
From there we can branch out:
Some core evergreen skills, such as self-awareness, decision making, and productivity.
Hard skills such as finance, and in this day-and-age, technology/software.
Soft skills such as story-telling, empathy, relationship building, and even marketing.
Then the sky’s the limit.
